Deborah Gill


Deborah grew up in Salt Lake City and graduated from Ricks College, (BYU-Idaho) Utah State University and the New York Institute of Photography.

She has been involved in the art world for over 40 years and has a strong background in design and art. In 2010, Deborah received the Portrait Society of America’s Award of Excellence. Her award winning works have been displayed in museums, private collections and galleries throughout the United States.

Deborah served on the Board of the Hanna Art Guild, (Wyoming) The Charlotte Art League, (North Carolina) Idaho Falls Art Guild, (Idaho) Eagle Rock Art Guild, (Idaho) was co-founder and Vice-president of The Pastel Society of the Northern Rockies and served as past ambasador to Wyoming and current Idaho Ambassador for the Portrait Society of America.

Her philosophy is to make each painting a piece that maintains her standards and vision.

What's on the easel? Deborah is also the Chapter Committee Chairwoman of the SL Valley Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, so expect some wonderful paintings with patriotic or historical themes.
